Do I need ply-board under my vinyl?
Vinyl needs a smooth, dry sub-floor. On smooth chipboard or existing tiles it can usually go straight down. If old floorboards need ply-boarding I'll flag it at the free measure so you can get a joiner in first — I don't ply sub-floors myself.
